The first time is always unforgettable...
Today was the 1st day of the long awaited London
2012 Olympic Torch Relay! Yo I’m not gonna lie, it was crazy! On so many
levels! It was like a crazy elevator!
Had to get up at 4.50am after a really bad night, having
dreams about double beds and amazing training spaces…
We did the 1st show at 5.40am in Land’s End. Hold on! What?!? A show at 5.40am???? That’s
right!!! FIVE FORTY AM!
We then moved on to Helston for the 2nd show.
The place was packed to the max!
Check it:
Those people make a lot of noise, trust me! It’s nice to see
the community coming together…
Even got the chance to catch up with oldschool Southern legend
Tracy! She came to support! Here we are chilling with her Lil Fatty
Chicken aka Tez:
In Helpston they have a stream flowing down the side of the
road, it looks gangsta!!! Double yellows mean double yellows there, no need to
paint them red:
We did another show and then went to the hotel for a shower
and went out to check out the stage shows in Plymouth, “shiz was hype dawg”:
All in all, good day. Lonnnnnnnnnnnnng but good. We have to get used to this new rhythm. The people in Cornwall were so receptive, they loved it, great support in the deep south!
Bonus fact of the day: two naps don't make up for a short bad night!
Bonus picture of the day:
I got bros, in different area codes...
It's 1.13am now and I feel like a zombie on crack! Goodnight.
