So today, all we had to do was to get from London
to Land’s End. On paper it seems pretty easy…
But when you have to pick up vehicles In Aylesham (Kent) then drive them to the
other end of the country, it’s another story!
So, after a bowl of fruits’n’fibres at 5.30am: bus/tube to
Victoria, and a train to Aylesham, here we are finally ready to leave.
Did I mention we’re going to drive in branded taxis and ice
cream van for 70 days? It’s fine, it’s only for 8000 miles…
On your marks, get set, go… for an 8 hour drive journey!
It was good though, some sleeping, some sandwiches, some
newspaper reading, some ‘musique classique’!
We got there in the end, left the house at 6am, arrived at
8pm, COAST TO COAST BABY!!!
We finished it off with a late dark walk…
It’s dark cause it’s late!
It’s dark cause it’s late!
Now the day is over and I’m watching Snatch. My favorite British
movie with the killer lines:
At the airport:
“-Anything to declare?
-Yeah! Don’t go to England!!”
Haha, classic!
Ps1: the blog is one day late already...
Ps2: I will introduce the team I work with at some point, keep your eyes peeled!
