#OTR Day 35: Bowness-on-Windermere to Blackpool

Yes, it's day 35. Do you know what that means? It means we are half way through the relay! 35 more days to go before the flame arrives in East London!

Today's been wet wet wet! Do you remember in Forrest Gump when they talk about the rain? "One day it started raining, and it didn`t quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin` rain... and big ol` fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath".
Well today's been exactly like that!

Luckily, our first show inside a college in Lancaster. It was fun. Me and Paddy made some new friends!

We then had lunch in Lancaster town. You think I'm acting up but truth is... I'm not! It was pouring it down!

We had a stop in Cleveley on the coast. The flame was supposed to go on the promenade but it was so windy they changed the route. I saw at least 3 children flying in the sky, crying for their mum. The sea did look angry too!!!

Well, now we're in Backpool. And guess what? It's still raining! I heard lots of legends about Blackpool including hen parties, oversized families, fish & chips... Well I guess the weather scared them away!

Hopefully tomorrow it will stop raining and we can make the day more interesting!
