#OTR Day 55: Salisbury to Weymouth

Today was like going through 4 seasons in 1 day. Only the snow was missing!

When I woke up this morning, there was not a single cloud in the sky. I thought "yes another sunny day on the Olympic Torch Relay!" We escaped a massive traffic jam and we got to our 1st show on time! We're professional like that! This is where it was at: Shaftesbury. They had something for all tastes: opera singers, pop music, marching bands...

On the way down south, it got a little cloudy:

Then it started spitting. The crowd is lovely when it rains, they had been waiting for 1 hour and they were really easy to engage! This is Dorchester, the rain wasn't too bad!

The guy in yellow hasn't even got his hood up, it was fine!

The last show we did was in Lyme Regis... Now this when the storm started! Look at these poor pupils waiting for the flame in the rain:

Now look at the picture again and notice the flags, see how flat they are, it's so windy they're horizontal!!! I danced in the storm, it was like the movie Step Up 3D without the cheesiness!

We came back to Weymouth through the South coast, what a nice drive it must be when you can see longer than 3 yards. Well, we took a picture anyway! Don't mind the popping head!

Behind the head, there's mist, behind the mist, there is sea...

In other news, the Tour De France is in my village this week! It feels good to see my mountains on TV!

Also, please back the bid! If Tour De France came to Yorkshire, it would make my day:
